Application & Granting Timeline

September

Grant application opens September 1. The grant application will be September 1 - October 17, 2024. See below for more information continue to follow our Facebook page and visit our website.
By September 1, Hudson Cultural Council updates guidelines and priorities based on community input. Applicants should visit this page to learn of any priorities or required supplemental materials, such as a support letter, to be submitted with their application.

October

Grant applications must be submitted to Hudson Cultural Council through the online system by the deadline, October 17.

November – December

Hudson Cultural Council holds voting meetings to make decisions on applications, send denial letters, and address reconsideration requests.

January – March

Hudson Cultural Council will send approval notifications and publicize grant awards.
Grant Recipients will be contacted regarding publicity. Grantees submit reimbursement or Direct Grant materials, acknowledge the funding they’ve received through Mass Cultural Council/LCC.
Hudson Cultural Council begins processing reimbursement requests or grants.

May - July

To learn about what the Hudson community needs, and to help make informed grant decisions, every year we conduct a community survey and post the results when the survey is complete. Your responses are important to help discover the needs and interests of our community.

Ongoing

We attend events in Hudson - come meet us! Follow us on Facebook to learn more.
Hudson Cultural Council processes reimbursement requests with their municipality. The time it takes varies but can take 4-8 weeks.
Grantees carry out their programs, submit reimbursement or Direct Grant materials, and acknowledge the funding they’ve received through Mass Cultural Council/LCC.
